From October 25 to November 22, 2009, NYC celebrates its first-ever Austrian Wine Month. 14 restaurants—ten in Manhattan—showcase the surprising diversity and quality of Austria's wines.
 Participating restaurants are Blaue Gans, Café Katja, Café Sabarsky, Café Steinhof, Delmonico's, Demel at the Plaza, Klee Brasserie, L'Ecole, Seasonal Restaurant & Weinbar, Stone Park Café, Thomas Beisl, Wallsé, The Upholstery Store and Watty & Meg. They will offer Austria's famous Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners, red varietals such as Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, and the country's renowned dessert wines. Select restaurants will feature special prices on wines, pairings, flights of wine, or prix-fixe menus.

 Just 45 minutes from culture-soaked Vienna, three distinct regions dominate. Vienna is bedecked with vineyards—within city limits.
